Oliver's Big Boy Room

Over Christmas break, Don and I worked very hard on changing our guest bedroom into Oliver's big boy room. We painted, we built furniture, we created artwork...you name it, we did it. It was a ton of work, but I'm so pleased with how it allturned out. We weren't going to push Oliver to move into the new room, but he asked to sleep in the big bed one night. We let him, and the rest is history. Other than having a little harder of a time falling asleep, the transition couldn't have gone any smoother! I still can't believe how fast he's growing up!

Stitching done!
New bedding and my old dresser
We even made the padded headboard!
His side table...I love how this turned out!
Baseball silhouettes...thank you, Pinterest, for the idea!

Overall, I'm really happy with how everything looks! We joke now that Oliver will probably grow up hating baseball...ha! I hope not because I'm not redoing this room again anytime soon!

Our Winter Break

Over winter break, we were lucky enough to have Don home with us for almost the entire two weeks! We had a great time as a family. Indianapolis got a blizzard while we were home, too, so Oliver got his first real experience with snow! We had a fantastic time hanging around the house, playing in the snow and doing a whole lot of nothing!

Getting all bundled up to head out into the snow with Daddy
Here we go!
He really didn't know what to make of it.
He had a good time playing...for about 10 minutes. Then, he wanted to go back inside!
His new favorite activity...putting our shoes on and walking around the house :-)
Hoosier LOVED playing in the snow!
