Our Friendly Neighborhood Squirrel

Our neighborhood has lots and lots of trees so we see our fair share of rabbits, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, etc. Don and I like to keep food out for the birds and squirrels during the warmer months...it drives Hoosier nuts to have so many animals running around in his yard!

This squirrel spent quite a bit of time eating this entire ear of corn from the squirrel feeder in our front yard last week. The funniest part was that Hoosier spotted him from the front window and would NOT take his eyes off him! Even when we took Hoosier for a walk, he was convinced he was going to be able to catch the squirrel (the squirrel was about 5-6 feet up the tree). He's nothing, if not confident!
