Saugatuck, MI - Summer 2015

After the CRAZY summer I had attending classes, we were overdue for a getaway! We settled on heading to the beach in Saugatuck. We had the best time! 3 days of doing nothing but laying around on the beach, shopping in town and eating yummy food! It was the best end to my busy summer!

5K for Max

We had a great time completing our first 5K as a family back in September. This particular race was special to us because it was the first of its kind for Gigi's Playhouse, a local resource center for families of children with Down's Syndrome. My amazing work family also came together to help raise money in honor of Max, the son of one of our teachers. We had a great time and look forward to running this race again next year!

Don in Arizona

In March, Don went to visit his brother Deron who was living in Mesa, Arizona. They took a tour of the stadium where the Diamondbacks play, Chase Field. There were no games there yet, but they did see some spring training games. The two guys went to see the Cubbies in action at their spring training facility. They also saw the Angels play. That is who you see warming up in the picture below.
