Paris Trip - Day 2

Our 2nd day in Paris was a big one...we visited the Eiffel Tower! We also headed to a nearby Galerie (mall) where you can take an escalator to the roof and take in some amazing views of the city.

The Eiffel Tower was amazing! The views are simply unbelievable. We spent most of the afternoon and evening climbing the Tower and walking around Trocadero Park. Afterwards, we headed to a cozy little neighborhood restaurant for dinner. Apparently, there was a big rugby match going on that night and the cafe was packed with young guys cheering and going crazy. It was nuts, but it was a very cool atmosphere!

The Eiffel Tower...still foggy!
The Opera House is an unbelievably stunning building!

Sacre Coeur

For our 10th anniversary, Don's mom gave us this framed print of the Eiffel Tower.
We found the same vantage point and recreated the picture. Different season, same view.

We stayed in the park until it got dark so we could enjoy the Tower lit up.

So beautiful!
All lit up!

One of my favorites!

Here we go! So cool to be in the park when it began with everyone cheering!

Dinner at Le Volant Basque

Beef Bourguignon

The most amazing bread and charcuterie plate...I'm still trying to figure out what kind of cheese it was!
